Come See Where the Road Has Taken Me

A little catching up on my NordicTrack journey since we last shared the road.

Since My Last Update

August 6 – October 15, 2026

A few more roads, a little English countryside, and some unexpected detours.

When I last shared my NordicTrack adventures on August 5, I had just begun riding US33 through Virginia.

Since then, I've continued through Virginia, traveled along US11 in northern New York, and begun a new journey on US64 through North Carolina. I even made a brief return to US20 in Oregon.

Then I took a little vacation from my American highways without ever leaving the bike.

Four rides through the countryside around Lover and Salisbury, England, gave me a change of scenery and a chance to explore some roads across the Atlantic.

Meanwhile, iFIT has continued to make things interesting. Mapping problems along US64 led me to attempt an excursion around the Alligator River crossing. After more mapping trouble, I temporarily abandoned the bypass and removed the remaining rides from my On Deck list. But when the bike and mapping started cooperating again, I restored those rides. On October 15, I was back on the excursion, riding another 5.1 miles through Stumpy Point, North Carolina.

Since August 5: 51 rides, 238.6 miles, and two countries.

The road may disappear from the screen now and then, but that doesn't mean the journey is over.

Below you'll find links to my current rides, American highway adventures, the NordicTrack bike, and the rest of PCMurphy.com.
